Managements are facing great challenges when they are to decide upon the strategies which will lead the company to success and survival. Because of the generic challenges companies have to decide on multiple strategies in order to retain the competitive edge. IT has become ubiquitous and a part of nearly all processes in the modern business. Furthermore IT has to be adaptable and scalable to meet the demands from the market place instantly. These factors influences the way organisations are working with the IT-Governance design and mechanisms. Many Danish companies govern their IT through static ITGovernance designs which is not compatible with the demands to the business that it has to focus on both exploitation and exploration strategies simultaneous.
